Jaguar X-Type 2004 - IDENTIFICATION

CAUTION:

When a fuse box lid is removed, take care to protect the fuse box from moisture and reinstall lid as soon as possible.

Jaguar X-Type 2004 - FRONT POWER DISTRIBUTION FUSE BOX LOCATION

The front power distribution fuse box is located in the left front of the engine compartment. See Fig. 1. For front power distribution fuse box fuse identification, see Fig. 2. The front power distribution fuse box contains Printed Circuit Board (PCB) relays that are not serviced separately. If a PCB relay fails, the front power distribution fuse box assembly must be replaced. For front power distribution fuse box relay and mega fuse identification, see Fig. 3. Front power distribution fuse box mega fuses are located on the bottom side of the fuse box under the mega fuse cover. See Fig. 4.

Jaguar X-Type 2004 - PASSENGER JUNCTION FUSE BOX LOCATION

Passenger junction fuse box is located on the left side of the instrument panel. See Fig. 1. To locate the fuse box, pull out the open storage compartment to the lower left of the steering column. See Fig. 5. The fuse box is visible through the storage compartment opening in the instrument panel. The fuses can be accessed through the storage compartment opening or by reaching underneath the instrument panel. For passenger junction fuse box fuse identification, see Fig. 6, Fig. 7 and/or Fig. 8 . The passenger junction fuse box contains Printed Circuit Board (PCB) relays that are not serviced separately. If a PCB relay fails, the passenger junction fuse box assembly must be replaced. For passenger junction fuse box relay identification, see Fig. 9.
