BeschrijvingDe voorstoelen kunnen als optional worden uitgerust met een verwarming (bestaande uit een verwarmingselement in de zitting en in de rugleuning). Ze verwarmen de stoel, waardoor het ongemak dat het gevolg is van een koud interieur in de winter wordt beperkt.De stoelverwarming bestaat uit twee weerstanden die via een schakelaar op de buitenste zijkant van de stoel kunnen worden ingeschakeld.Als een bepaalde temperatuur is bereikt, schakelt de verwarming automatisch uit, dank zij een thermoschakelaar in de verwarmingselementen.De inschakeling van de weerstanden wordt aangegeven door een led op de schakelaar.Het circuit wordt gevoed via een optional-relais en beschermd door een zekering die zich beide in de zekeringen- en relaiskast onder het dashboard bevinden. De verwarming kan zowel worden ingeschakeld als het contactslot op MAR staat als op STOP.Als het contactslot op MAR staat, dan wordt tijdens de startfase de bekrachtiging van het relais tijdelijk opgeheven.Als het contactslot op STOP staat, dan blijft de Body Computer het relais gedurende drie minuten bekrachtigen. Het relais voedt ook de buitenspiegels en de ruitbediening. De bekrachtiging wordt onderbroken als een van de twee voorportieren wordt geopend.De inschakeling van de weerstanden wordt bovendien onderbroken als de accuspanning lager wordt dan 10 Volt.

Functiebeschrijving Het optional-relais T13 bevindt zich in de zekeringen- en relaiskast B2 en voedt via zekering F45 de stoelverwarming via de stekkers D70 en D71 . De hiervoor beschreven inschakeling wordt geregeld door de Body Computer M1 (pen 14, stekker F).
