DescriptionOn the version with RECARO seats, whereSide Bags are fitted, the mechanical device for adjusting the lumbarsupport cannot be housed; This adjustment is therefore carried outby a special electric motor operated by a switch on the outsideof the actual seat. The circuit is protected by a fuse controlledby the seat heater relay. The lumbar adjustment can only be made withthe ignition switched ON.
Functional description The optional services relay J60 controlsthe heating circuit for the seats as well as the electric rear windowsand sun roof: SeeE3060 SUN ROOF , SeeE3051 ELECTRIC REAR WINDOWS , SeeE3075 HEATED SEATS ). The coil for relay J60 is energized whenthe ignition is switched on (INT/A) by the line for fuse F6 of supplementaryfuse box B98 B, whilst the supply at the relay contact arrives fromthe battery, through the line for maxifuse J/B2 of B99. This supply passes through fuse B20 whichguarantees the protection of the circuit and reaches the switchon the seat via the connection D70 : the supply for the deviceis therefore controlled by the ignition (INT/A); and is also connectedto earth C20 . When the switch on the seat is pressed, command signals (positive and negative) are sent to the motor N38 :reversing the signals according to the contact which is closed determinesthe direction of the rotation of the actual motor.
