DescriptionOn the version with the navigation system, the telephone is located inside the ICS display., incorporated with the radio, the display, the navigation system and the other I.C.S. functions.768

767 On the version without the navigation system, on request the vehicle can be prepared for the installation of a cellular telephone. 3309684SeeE3580PREPARATION FOR CELLULAR TELEPHONE
The system also includes:hands-free function through the radio speakersmicrophone located in the front courtesy lightGSM aerialThis aerial is fitted at the rear of the roof: it is the dual reception band type (GSM-ETACS at 900 Hz and D.C.S. at 1800 Hz) with a specific coaxial cable connected to the I.C.S. display.768

767 The aerial is dual purpose because it also incorporates the Navigation System GPS, which is connected by a specific cable to the Navigation System CD. 3309749SeeE4090NAVIGATOR
The microphone for the radio telephone hands-free function is incorporated in the front courtesy light, in an excellent position for good reception. The circuit and the ICS display receives a power supply protected by a specific junction unit fuse.Full details of the specifications and the operation of the telephone are given in the 'OWNER'S HANDBOOK'.
Functional description The ICS E60 is supplied directly by the battery at pins 13 and 26 of connector A by the line protected by fuse F18 of the junction unit B2. Pins 19 and 6 of connector A are earthed. Pins 7 and 20 of connector B of E60 receive the microphone P26 signals. The outside telephone receiver P27 is connected to connector B of E60 to pins 7, 8, 9 and 22. ICS display E60 - connector B pins 16 and 18 - controls radio P20 when it receives signals from device H16 (radio controls on the steering wheel) via the clock spring. The steering wheel radio controls H16 are lit up by the ignition-operated line (15/54) for fuse F5 of junction unit B2.
