DescriptionThe car offers a special predisposition for installation of a TELEPASS device (only Italian Market). This communcations system pays motorway tolls without the need to stop at a paybooth. An electronic device fitted to the car emits a sound pulse that is picked up by a receiver on the paybooth, through which the car drives at moderate speed but without stopping. The predisposition takes the form of a specific rear view mirror that contains housing for this electronic device in addition to device wiring. The device is operated when the ignition key is turned to MAR.The above lines are protected by a fuse in the junction unit.
Functional description The TELEPASS connection D76 has a supply line (pin 1) coming from the ignition-operated line (INT/A) from the relay R1 protected by the fuse F9: both are contained in the junction unit B1. The connection D76 also has a connection (pin 3) to earth C30 .
