DescriptionThe car is equipped with two reversing lights situated iin the centre of the tail-light unit (on the boot).These are operated whenever reverse is engaged via a switch on the outside of the gear housing.The signal responsible for turning on the reversing lights is sent to the electrochromatic interior rear view mirror control unit.The reversing light circuit is supplied with the ignition key turned to MAR - fully independently of the other lights - by a line protected by a fuse in the junction unit.
Functional description The reversing lights switch I20 is supplied by the ignition-operated line (INT/A) of the relay R1 protected by fuse F13 : both are contained in the junction unit B1 . When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends the supply to the reversing lights in the centre rear light cluster on the left F35 and on the right F36 , via the junction unit B1 (pin 7 connector I and pin 2 of connector C).
