DESCRIPTION - HEATED SEATS - Fiat BRAVO 1.9 JTD 8v
The front seats are available, on request, with a special heating system (comprising two heating elements located in the cushion and the backrest): this allows the seat to be heated to overcome the discomfort of cold passenger compartments in very harsh climates, e.g. when the car is left in the open for long periods in winter.The heating device located in each seat consists of two resistors activated by a controls located on the console between the two seats.A special LED next to the switches indicates that the coils are switched on.Once a certain temperature has been reached the heating stops automatically thanks to a thermal contact inside the actual device.Seat heating is ignition-operated (INT).The seat heating circuit is controlled by two special relays and protected by two specific fuses located in the fuse box in the boot.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - HEATED SEATS - Fiat BRAVO 1.9 JTD 8v
The power supply to both seat heaters O40 and O41 - connector A for the cushion and connector B for the backrest - is received via relays T21 (left) and T22 (right) located in boot fuse box B45, via lines protected by fuses F67 and F68 respectively; the are energized by control signals from switches I65 and I66.Switches I65 and I66 receive a power supply and are also lit up by the ignition-controlled (INT) line protected by fuse F49 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.
