DESCRIPTION - RADIO - Fiat BRAVO 1.9 JTD 8v
The vehicle is equipped with a radio system comprising:- radio (with CD / MP3 player);- front speakers: woofer and tweeter in the doors;- rear speakers located in the doors;- cables connecting the radio with the speakers;- aerial with support fitted at the rear of the roof with a coaxial connecting cable.A sophisticated Bose HIFI system with special HIFI speakers and an outside amplifier can also be fitted.The radio is a CAN node through which information is exchanged with the Body Computer and with the other electronic units.The radio is equipped with an anti-theft system through the connection of the radio at the CAN with the Body Computer; it also manages the volume control linked to the vehicle speed: the volume increases and decreases in relation to the speed of the vehicle: this information reaches the radio node via the CAN.Some versions are equipped with a series of buttons on the steering wheel: these make it possible to replicate some of the commands which are acquired in the same way by the actual radio.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - RADIO - Fiat BRAVO 1.9 JTD 8v
Radio P20 is supplied directly (7 of connector A) from the battery via the line of fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2 .Pin 8 of connector A is earthed.Pins 1 and 3 of connector A receive the CAN line by which radio P20 is connected to Body Computer M1 and the other system nodes.The Body Computer M1 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via clock spring D47: pin 27 of connector H of M1 receives the signals for the buttons on the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 15 of connector H of M1 receives the signals from the buttons on the left of the steering wheel.The Body Computer M1 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line protected by maxifuse B99 at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit B2.The following cables with signals for the speakers leave connector B of P20:- pins 5 and 6 to the left front speakers P35 and P45;- pins 3 and 4 to the right front speakers P36 and P46;- pins 7 and 8 to the left rear speaker P30; - pins 1 and 2 to the right rear speaker P31.The aerial P25 is connected to the radio by means of the special coaxial cable.
