The front door electric windows are operated by switches in the middle of the facia.The operation is manual: the glass only goes up/down when the button is pressed. Both windows can only be operated when the ignition is ON.One some versions, if the button for operating the driver''s electric window is pressed for more than half a second, the automatic operation is activated: the window stops when it reaches the end of travel position or if the button is pressed again.Operation is enabled for two minutes after turning the ignition from ON to OFF, only with the doors properly closed.The circuit for the electric windows is protected by two special fuses, one for the driver''s side and one for the passenger side and is controlled by a specific relay located in the under-facia junction unit.
Functional description - ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS - Fiat DOBLO 1.6 16v da 12/03
The operation of the front electric windows circuit is supplied by the electric windows relay R13 . It receives a supply from the direct line from the battery protected by fuse F2 housed in the engine compartment junction unit B01 and is energized thanks to an earth signal leaving the body computer M01 .When energized, the relay supplies the control unit H90 (pins 5 and 3 connector C) via the two lines protected by fuses F47 and F48 of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 (pins 20 and 19 connector E).The signals for the right electric window motor leave pins 6 and 7 of the control unit H90 , whilst those for the left electric window motor leave pins 1 and 4. Pins 2 and 8 are earthed.
