Description - REAR WINDOW WASH/WIPE - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The rearscreen wiper is operated by turning the ring nut on the end of the lever located on the right of the steering wheel. This allows the rear wiper to work intermittently.By pushing the lever gently towards the steering wheel (unstable position) the rearscreen washer function is activated; the same pump is used as for the windscreen washer, but it rotates in the opposite direction and sends the detergent fluid to the rear.If the lever is kept pressed, the rearscreen wiper comes on and operates for a few strokes after the lever is released.The rearscreen wiper can only be operated with the ignition switched ON.The windscreen wash/wipe circuit is protected by a specific fuse and is operated by a relay (which also controls the windscreen wash/wipe circuit) both located in the junction unit under the dashboard.The rearscreen wiper is regulated by a device inside the stalk unit.

The operation of the rearscreen wash/wipe is determined by the special switch on the steering column switch unit H05 and by the supply controlled by the ignition coming from the ignition switch H01 (INT/A).The supply at the steering column switch unit H05 reaches pin 2 of connector C via the outlet at pin 17 connector G of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 .Inside the junction unit B02 , this line arrives from the relay R12 via a line protected by fuse F52 . The supply at the relay arrives from the line protected by fuse F1 housed in the junction unit B01 from pin A connector C of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 .The operation of the relay R12 is determined by the supply line controlled by the ignition (INT/A) entering the junction unit under the dashboard B02 at pin 1 connector E.The steering column switch unit H05 controls the rearscreen wiper motor N16 via two lines (pins 4 and 3 of connector C) going from the junction unit under the dashboard B02 (input: pins 15 and 11 connector G, output: pins 9 and 20 connector D).The steering column switch unit H05 also controls the windscreen/rearscreen washer pump N22 via pins 12 and 10 connector A of the steering column switch unit sending a supply signal and an earth signal from pins 12 and 10 connector A.Steering column switch unit H05 is earthed at pin 7 connector A and at pin 5 connector C.
