Description - AIR CONDITIONING - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The vehicle climate control system involves a duct/distributor unit with a heater. The air conditioning system includes the heater and has the function of producing cold, dehumidified air by switching on the compressor and the refrigeration system.
Functional description - AIR CONDITIONING - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The passenger compartment air fan is controlled by the relay R8 housed in the engine compartment junction unit B01 .The supply for the relay contact arrives from the battery at pin 1 of connector A and is protected by fuse F8 , whilst the energizing of the coil is controlled by the ignition (INT/A) by the line protected by fuse F31 (junction unit under the dashboard B02).When the climate control button H80 is pressed, relay R8 directly supplies the fan N85, which operates at different speeds according to the ''load'' applied by the control knob H81 (supplied at pin 1 from the line for fuse F31). Operating the selector varies the number of resistances appiled (voltage divider) altering the fan speed.The frost thermostat N86, which prevents the operation of the air conditioning compressor in case the actual evarporator ''freezes'', is located on the evaporator in the duct/distributor assembly.In positions 1 to 4, the selector H81 , closes an internal contact which enables the engagement of the air conditioning compressor.The control panel has ideograms lit up when the side lights are switched on by lights G45 (A, B, C) supplied through the line protected by fuse F51 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2 .
