Description - DIPPED HEADLAMPS - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The vehicle has two special lamps for the dipped beam headlamps.The dipped beam headlamps are switched on through the steering column switch unit by turning the special ring nut in the position after the side lights (second position).The dipped headlamps remain on even with the main beam headlamps switched on - they go off, however, when the fog lights are switched on.The circuit is protected by two fuses, one for the right hand headlamp, one for the left hand headlamp.The dipped headlamps circuit also enables the operation of several other functions, for example, switching on the rear fog lamps and the operation of the headlamp alignment.
Functional description - DIPPED HEADLAMPS - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The activation of the dipped headlamps is controlled by an earth signal coming from the steering column switch unit H05 , by turning the ring nut, and reaches the body computer M01 at pin 4 connector D.To switch the dipped headlamps on, the body computer M01 energizes a relay R1 in the junction unit under the dashboard B02 which receives a direct supply, protected by fuse F1 , housed in the engine compartment junction unit B01 , and sends it to the left and right headlamps.Each line is protected by a fuse in the junction unit under the dashboard B02 : F13 for the left headlamp, F12 for the right headlamp.
