The vehicle is available, on request, with preparation for the installation of a mobile phone.This preparation is configured as follows:- dual function aerial (car radio and mobile phone);- hands-free speaker, located in the dashboard on the passenger side (it is the same speaker for the radio with two connections: one for the radio and one for the mobile phone hands-free function);- hands-free microphone located inside the front courtesy light.The connection for the mobile phone has two power supplies: one direct from the battery and one only with the ignition ON.The two lines are protected by fuses in the junction unit under the battery and in the engine compartment.
The radio phone connection D75 receives a direct power supply (pin 9) from the battery via the line for fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 and protected by fuse F1 of the engine compartment junction unit B01.It receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) at pin 7 via the line for fuse F49 of the junction unit under the dashboard B02.The power supply with the side lights on (POS) reaches pin 8 at the radio phone connection D79 via the line protected by fuse F51 of the junction unit under the dashboard B02.Pin 10 of connection D75 is earthed, whilst the cables leave pins 5 and 6 with signals for the right front speaker in the dashboard P38 at connector A (left front speaker P37 at connector A for right hand drive versions).The radio phone connection D75 exchanges information via pins 4, 3 and 1 with the radio P20 (pins 7, 8 and 9 connector C).A connection for the mobile phone aerial is located near connector D75.
