The engine radiator cooling system consists of a fan operated at a single speed corresponding to a certain engine coolant temperature level.The fan is operated by means of a specific relay located in the engine compartment junction unit.The supply line for the fan is protected by a special fuses, located in the engine compartment control unit.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - ENGINE COOLING - Fiat GRANDE PUNTO 1.2 8v
Relay T1 of engine compartment control unit B1 manages activation of fan N11. The coil and power line are protected by fuse F12 of engine compartment control unit B1.Relay T1 is excited by an earth control signal from engine compartment control unit M10 - from pin 63 or 45 of connector A - which then sends power to fan N11: the fan turns at the maximum speed.
