The handsfree system for Bluetooth phones - built into the facia - allows mobile phones to be used on board the vehicle while assuring customer safety and function.- Bluetooth receiver;- integral Voice Recognition unit including a microphone (located next to the front courtesy light);- Text to Speech integrated module;- USB interface for Media Player.The control unit is also connected to radio controls on the steering wheel (two special keys for this function are provided in addition to the radio control keys).The alphanumeric display used is that of the control panel.For more details on system operation
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - INTEGRATED RADIO PHONE - Fiat GRANDE PUNTO 1.4 16v
The Bluetooth control unit M162 is supplied directly (16 of connector A) from the battery via the line of fuse F51 of the Body Computer M1.The Bluetooth control unit M162 receives an ignition-operated supply (32 of connector A) from the battery via the line of fuse F61 of the Body Computer M1.Pin 15 of connector A of M162 is earthed.Pins 14 and 30 of connector A connect to the CAN network that connects the Bluetooth control unit M162 to the Body Computer M1 (pins 5 and 20 of connector D) and to the other system nodes.The Body Computer M1 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via clock spring D47: pin 35 of connector D supplies a reference earth to pin 7 of D47; pin 52 of connector D of M1 receives signals from the pushbuttons located to the left of the steering wheel while pin 50 of connector D of M1 receives signals from the pushbuttons on the left of the steering wheel.The Body Computer M1 - connector G - is supplied directly from the battery via a line protected by maxifuse F2 of the engine compartment control unit B1; its ignition-controlled supply (INT) is received at pin 2 of connector D; pin 10 of connector H or M1 supplies the Body Computer with a reference earth.The Bluetooth control unit M162 - on the version without a media player - is connected directly to radio P20 - connector D - from pins 7, 23 and 25 of connector A, sending audio+. audio - and MUTE signals respectively, thus using the radio speakers for voice messages and hands-free communication.In the version with Media Player USB interface, the Bluetooth control unit M162 is connected to radio P20 - connector C - from pins 5, 22 and 21 of connector A with AUX left, AUX right and AUX earth signals.The Media Player USB socket P143 is connected to the Bluetooth control unit M162, to pins 3, 4, 19, 20 and 31 respectively, with signals: signal D+, reference earth, signal D-, 5V power supply and shielding.The handsfree microphone P26 is connected to pins 8 and 24 of connector A of M162.
