DescriptionPreparation for the "TELEPASS " © is available (for the Italian market only). This communcations system pays motorway tolls without the need to stop at a paybooth. An electronic device fitted to the car emits a sound pulse that is picked up by a receiver on the paybooth, through which the car drives at moderate speed but without stopping.The predisposition takes the form of a specific rear view mirror that contains housing for this electronic device in addition to device wiring. The device is operated when the ignition key is turned to ON.The above line is protected by a fuse which also supplies other services.
Functional description The connector for the "TELEPASS" D76 consists of a supply controlled by the ignition (INT/A) (pin 3) from the line protected by fuse B27 and a connection (pin 1) to earth C30.
