DescriptionThe vehicle is also available, on request, prepared for the installaion of all the electrical equipment required for using the vehicle as a TAXI.In particular, this preparation includes:supply connection for taxi-meter with all the signals required for this device (direct and ignition-controlled supply, speedometer signal, lighting with side lights on); the connection is located by the coin holder trim in the centre of the dashboard;connection for "TAXI" sign on the roof, lit up when the side lights are on;supply connection for radio taxi device, located under the outside front passenger seat.
The above supply lines are protected by two specific fuses, one next to the junction unit, the other in the engine compartment next to the maxifuse box.
Functional description The connection for the radiotaxi D57 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line for the specific fuse B57 and is suitably earthed. The connection for the taxi-meter D55 receives a direct supply from the battery - pin 6 - via the line for the specific fuse B55 and the maxifuse J/B2 of B5 .and is suitably earthed. It receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) (pin 7) via the line for fuse F1 of the junction unit B1 . Pin 2 receives a supply, with the side lights on, via the line protected by fuse F2 of the junction unit B1 ( 2888812SeeE2010SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS ). Pin 5 of connection D55 is earthed. Pin 1 receives the speedometer signal from the instrument panel E50 - pin 11 of connector C. Pin 3 of D55 sends a supply, with the side lights on, to the connection for the TAXI sign D56 , which is suitably earthed. Taxi-meter fuse
