DescriptionThe following diagram shows the various earths on the vehicle, and the circuits connected to each are indicated.It is thus easy to identify the circuits which are connected to earth from the same line; this facilitates fault finding if a problem involves more than one function: for example, the corrosion of one earth could put different circuits and several functions out of action at the same time.768

This makes it possible to correctly connect all the electrical components on the same wiring to earth, even if one particular earth point does not guarantee an efficient contact to the vehicle bodyshell. |
