DescriptionThe seats can be mechanically adjusted into numerous position:adjustment of the backrest angle (all seats);lengthwise adjustment (front seats and centre rear seat - opt.);lumbar adjustment (driver's front seat - opt);
The driver's front seat is also electrically adjustable for height: an electric motor operated by a switch at the side of the actual seat moves a pantograph which produces a 20 cm +/- travel of the seat. The switch is lit up when the ignition is ON.The system only operates when the ignition is switched ON. The circuit is controlled by the optional services relay and protected by a fuse which also protects the mini bar wiring, both of which are located next to the junction unit.
Functional description The circuit for the seat lifting is controlled by the relay J61. This is supplied by the direct line for the maxifuse J/B2 of B5. The energizing of the coil, supplied by the line controlled by the ignition (INT/A) protected by the fuse B27, allows the supply of the seat lifting switch H69, through the line protected by the fuse B21 (which also protects the wiring for the mini bar). The driver's seat lifting switch H69 is lit up by a special LED. The operation in one direction or the other of the switch H69 determines the direction of rotation of the driver's seat lifting motor N39 by providing the motor with an earth or a supply.
