Description - DIAGNOSTIC MULTIPLE CONNECTOR - Fiat PANDA 1.1


The car is fitted with numerous electronic control units that perform a self-diagnostic function.When a diagnostic tester (Examiner or other device) is connected to these control units, self-diagnosis data can be read (parameters, errors) or the available active diagnostic tests can be carried out.Each control unit converts its self-diagnostic line into a single connector that can be connected to the diagnostic tester.The electrical connector for the diagnostic socket is incorporated in the junction unit under the dashboard located on the lower part of the left front pillar.The following control units are connected to the diagnostic connector:Air Bag control unit;electric steering control unit;engine management control unit;body computer Node;parking control unit.

Operational description - DIAGNOSTIC MULTIPLE CONNECTOR - Fiat PANDA 1.1


The diagnostic connector R010:at pin 16 receives a direct battery supply;at pin 4: reference earth;at pin 5: electronic earth;pin 3: information coming from the Air Bag control unit M060;pin 9: information coming from the electric steering control unit M086;pin 7: information coming from the body computer node M001 , with reference to the data communicated by the engine management control unit M010.pin 13: information coming from the body computer node M001 , with reference to the data communicated by the parking control unit M084;The ABS control unit M050 is connected directly to the body computer node M001, which then sends the information acquired via the B-CAN to the diagnostic connector R010.767Coupling D001 is housed, in the passenger compartment, in the lower part of the right front pillar, near the door cable loom, passenger side.
