Functional description The power steering control unit M86 monitors and controls the entire electric driving system . The control unit is supplied directly by the battery via a line protected by fuse F2 of engine bay control unit B1, at pin 1of connector A of M86. The supply controlled by the ignition (15/54) reaches pin 1 of connector B of M86 from the line protected by fuse F24 of the engine compartment unit B1. The pin of connector A of M86 is earthed. Self-diagnostic data can be read by connecting the unit to connector G of Body Computer M1 - pin 11: this receives signals from pin 4 of connector A of M86.
