When the tailgate is opened the courtesy lights (one on each side) located in the luggage compartment automatically come on. The courtesy lights go off gradually when the tailgate is closed.769The courtesy lights go out after a few minutes to protect the battery charge.The light inside the glove compartment comes on - with the key in position M - when it is opened and goes out when it is closed.The lights located under each of the two sun visors come on when the visor is opened; both the courtesy lights at the side of the vanity mirror come on.The light for illuminating the ashtray is on with the key in position M.

The glove compartmeng G030 courtesy light is activated when the glove compartment is opened, via the built-in switch: the switch provides the earth for the courtesy light bulb.According to the logic described previously, the body computer node M001 sends a supply, from pin 4 connector D, to the courtesy lights G030, via the line protected by fuse F07 housed in the body computer node M001.The ashtray light G035 is supplied by the body computer node M001 by the line protected by fuse F12 housed inside. The supply is controlled by the ignition and is operated by the relay inside the body computer node M001.The opening of the front doors is signalled via the switch incorporated in the locks N050 and N051.When the door is opened, the (normally closed type) switch provides an earth signal at pin 4 (left front door) and pin 5 (right front door) for connector L of the body computer node M001.Having received the signal, the body computer node M001, sends the command, from pin 32 connector L, to the front courtesy light G010, with a supply coming from the line protected by fuse F12 of M001.The opening of the tailgate is signalled by the specific switch I011: with the tailgate open, an earth signal reaches the body computer node M001 at pin 17 of connector I.In accordance with the logic described previously, the body computer node M001 sends a supply, from pin 4 connector I. to the rear courtesy lights G025 and G026.The body computer node M001 provides a supply for the operation of the sun visor lights G031 and G032, from pin 12 of connector H coming from the line protected by fuse F07 of M001, direct to the front courtesy light G010 [EL2510] and from there to the lights G031 and G032.
