The body computer node controls the operation of the driver''s and passenger side rear electric window motors. The electric windows for the sliding rear doors are activated either by means of the switches located on the driver''s front door or through those on each of the rear doors. The electric rear windows are manually operated (the glass only moves up or down when the button is pressed). For safety reasons, a special "locking" button, located on the driver''s front door, allows the power supply to the switches on the rear doors to be cut off (in addition to opening/closing the sliding doors and the opening rear roofs to prevent operation, for example if children are present. The rear electric windows are also equipped with an anti-crush safety system. The control unit can detect the presence of obstacles while the window is closing. In this case, the system stops the window in its travel and reverses the direction of motion immediately. With the key in position S, the windows remain activated for around 1 minute. When the remote control key is pressed to activate the passenger compartment ventilation function, the front and rear side windows descend fully to allow outside air to enter the passenger compartment.
The electric motors of rear windows N065 and N066 are supplied (pin 3) by body computer node M001 (pin 8 connector F).The command for opening/closing the windows is given by the switches H053 (left) and H054 (right). The switches (pin 2) receive a lighting power supply from body computer node M001 (pin 12 connector L).The same switches H053 and H054 (pin 6) send the window opening signal to motors N065 and N066 (pin 6); the same signal is also sent to body computer node M001 (pin 19 connector L for N065 and pin 9 of the same connector for N066).Switches H053 and H054 (pin 3) also supply a window closure signal that is sent to motors N065 and N066 (pin 1) and body computer (pin 20 connector L for N065 and pin 10 of the same connector for N066).Body computer node M001 supplies driver door control unit M066 at pin 1 of connector A from pin 9 of connector F.The command is sent from body computer node M001 (pins 36, 38 connector I) to door control unit M066 (pin 20, 19 connector A) via the CAN network. It is possible to disable opening/closure of the rear windows from the front driver side switch unit H051 (pin 2 connector B) by pressing a switch in the unit; this command is sent to door control unit M066 (pin 18 connector A). This in turn supplies body computer M001 via the CAN line, which sends a rear glass cut-out command to switches H053 and H054.
