Operational Description - ALARM - Fiat ULYSSE 2.2 16V JTD fino a 04/03

The alarm control unit M030 receives an ignition-controlled supply at pin 7 connector A from the body computer node M001 from pin 1 connector A.Pin 4 connector A receives a reference earth from the body computer node M001 from pin 2 connector A.The control unit M030 communicates, from pins 6, 10, 12, via the CAN, with the body computer node, at pins 5, 4, 6 connector A of M001.When the alarm system is activated, control unit M030, from pins 1, 4, 3, 6 of connector B, activates volumetric sensors K060 and K061.These sensors can be cut out when control unit M030, at pin 5 connector A, receives a negative signal from switch I030.Pin 11 connector A of control unit M030 manages deterrene led E040.Bonnet lid switch I010 is connected to alarm control unit M030 at pin 9 connector A.The front and rear door and boot switches are connected to the body computer node M001 and from there, via the CAN, to the alarm control unit M030, see alsoThe front door locks N050 and N051 communicate with the body computer M001, at pins 4 and 5 of connector L, informing it of the state of the door (open/closed).The opening of the sliding side doors is signalled by specific switches I018 (left sliding side door) and I019 (right sliding side door) to pin 34 (left door) and 33 (right door) of connector L of M001.The boot lid closed signal for the lock N057 is supplied to pin 16 connector I of the body computer node M001; the body computer node receives the signal coming from the boot lid switch I011 at pin 17 of the same connector.Alarm siren control unit P090 supplied at pin 3 from body computer node M001, pin 12 connector B, from a line protected by fuse F11, receives, at pin 2, an activation signal from control unit M030, from pin 2 connector A. The siren is activated even when it is deprived of a power supply from the body computer node due to a buffer battery inside.Alarm system activation is indicated by the turn signals coming on. The vehicle is fitted with an ABS braking system which prevents the wheels from locking during braking, makes the best possible use of the grip conditions available and keeps the vehicle as easy as possible to control during emergency braking.The ABS is an additional section of the basic braking system; it is disabled if there is a problem, with the braking system working the same way as for a vehicle without ABS.The advantage of ABS over conventional systems is that it makes it possible to maintain maximum manoeuvrability even when braking hard in poor grip conditions, preventing the wheels from locking.The system is completed by the EBD system (Electronic Brake Distributor) which distributes the brake force by means of the ABS sensors and control unit.The "ABS failure" warning light and the "minimum brake fluid level" warning light coming on simultaneously with the engine running means that there is a problem with the EBD system; in this case, the wheels could lock during sharp braking.The "ABS failure" warning light coming on by itself with the engine running usually means that there is a problem with the ABS only.In this case, the braking system will work properly, just without the anti-lock function.The operation of the EBD system may also be affected under these circumstances.If the "minimum brake fluid level" warning light only comes on, this means that the hydraulic system fluid level is too low.On this version, the system is only available in the basic configuration.If the vehicle in question is equipped with the ESP function and the additional TC/ASR, MBA/HBA and MSR functions,The basic ABS system components are:the control unitfour sensors which detect the rotation speed of each wheel (ABS sensors);
