DescriptionThe door mirrors are adjustable electricallyin both directions by means of a joystick; located in the door controls,driver's side: a slide switch selects the right or left mirror.The button, which can be pressed in fourdirections, controls two electric motors located in each of thetwo mirrors: one motor rotates the mirror on a horizontal axis,while the other on a vertical axis.The circuit is protected by a fuse in theunderfacia control unit and controlled by the door control unitin accordance with a control strategy transmitted via the CAN networkfrom the Body Computer.
Functional description Door mirror motors P60 and P61 arecontrolled by driver door control unit M66 and passengerdoor control unit M67 , interconnected to one another andthe body computer M1 via the CAN line. Control units M66 and M67 are supplied-at pin 11 of connector E - from a line protected by fuse F32 ofunderfacia control unit B2.Driver door control unit H44 containsa joystick and door mirror control switch whic control:selection of right - left mirror: signal at pin 30 ofconnector A of M66 ,vertical movement: signal at pin 28 of connector A ofhorizontal movement: signal at pin 29 of connector A of M66 , whilst pin 33 of connector A of M66 providesthe reference earth. According to these requests, control units M66and M67 control the motors of mirrors P60 and P61, from pin 4 ofconnector D (shared) and pins 3 and 5 (horizontal and vertical movement,respectively).
