DescriptionThe vehicle has a radio system comprising:radio (various versions are available)front loudspeakers (separate woofers and tweeters) locatedin the doors;rear speakers located in the rear side panel;radio supply cables;leads connecting the radio to the speakers;fishpole antenna with base mounted on the rear of theroof, coaxial cable and supply cable for aerial amplifier.
Functional description The radio P20 is supplied directly (4 of connector A) fromthe battery via the line of fuse F39 of the unit under the dashboardB2. Pins 1 and 3 of connector A receive theCAN line with which the radio P20 is connected to the BodyComputer M1 and the other nodes of the system. Pin 8 of connectorA is earthed. The aerial P25 is connected to the radioalso via the specific coaxial cable and is supplied by pin 5 ofconnector A of P20. Pin 6 of connector A of P20 receivesthe supply for the lighting (with the side lights on) of the actualradio display, pin 40 of connector E of M1. Radio P20 is not connected to theradio controls on the steering wheel: the connection is via theclock spring D47 , which is a node of the CAN network 2429872SeeE1050CAN CONNECTION LINES . Connector B of P20 sends out cablescarrying signals to the speakers:pins 5 and 6 to left front loudspeakers P35 and P45 ,pins 3 and 4 to right front loudspeakers P35 and P46 ,pins 7 and 8 to the left rear loudspeaker P30 ,pins 1 and 2 to the right rear loudspeaker P31 , Connector E of P20 has the cable connectedto the CD player P75 coming out of it.
