DescriptionThe engine radiator cooling system consistsof a fan activated at a constant speed corresponding to a certainengine coolant temperature.The fan is operated by a specific relaylocated in the engine compartment junction unit. The fan supplyline is protected by a specific fuse, also located in the enginecompartment junction unit.
Functional description The relay T6 in the engine compartmentunit B1 manages the switching on of the fan: the coil is suppliedby the ignition-controlled line (15/54), while the power line isprotected by the fuse F6 of the engine compartment junction unitB1. It is energized by an earth control signal coming from theengine management control unit M10, pin 8 of connector A. If the engine coolant reaches a first temperaturelevel, the control unit M10 sends a signal from pin 8 of connectorA which energizes the fan relay T6 which sends the supply to the fanN11.
