Audi A6 Quattro 1999 - IDENTIFICATION ENGINE CODE
Engines are identified by a 3-letter code stamped on engine. On vehicles equipped with engine code AHA, letters and serial number are located on flat surface of cylinder block in front of right cylinder head. The engine code is also included on the vehicle data label. See Fig. 1. On vehicles equipped with engine code ART, letters are located on left side of cylinder block. The engine code is also included on vehicle data label. See Fig. 2.
