Audi allroad Quattro 2002 - ENGINE CODE


Engines are identified by a 3-letter code stamped on engine. On vehicles equipped with 2.7L engine code APB, engine code is on machined surface on cylinder block, at front right cylinder bank. The engine code is also indicated on the vehicle data sticker. See Fig. 1. On vehicles equipped with 3.0L engine code AVK, engine code are stamped on rear of cylinder block, left side, and included on vehicle data plate. See Fig. 2. On vehicles equipped with 4.2L engine code AWN or BBD, letters are located on left side of cylinder block. The engine code is also included on vehicle data label. See Fig. 3.
