CAUTION:

When working near radiator fan, always disconnect fan motor, or ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Fan is temperature controlled and could start at any time when ignition switch is in ON position. DO NOT loosen or remove radiator cap when cooling system is hot.

Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon 1991 - ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)

CAUTION:

On models equipped with anti-lock brake systems, always observe the following precautions:

• DO NOT attempt to bleed hydraulic system without first referring to the appropriate ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM article in the BRAKES Section.
• DO NOT mix tire sizes. Increasing the width, as long as tires remain close to the original diameter, is acceptable. Rolling diameter must be identical for all 4 tires. Some manufacturers recommend tires of the same brand, style and type. Failure to follow this precaution may cause inaccurate wheel speed readings.
• Use ONLY recommended brake fluids. DO NOT use silicone brake fluids in ABS-equipped vehicle.

Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon 1991 - AIR BAG SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)

Modification to air bag system component or wiring can adversely affect system performance and possibly cause injury.

CAUTION:

The Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module (DERM) can maintain enough voltage to cause inflator module deployment for up to 10 minutes after ignition switch is turned off and battery is disconnected. To prevent accidental deployment, many service procedures require inflator module to be disconnected.
