Chrysler Cirrus LXi 1996 - IDENTIFICATION BATTERY LOCATION
NOTE: Battery is stored in a compartment behind the left front fender and is accessible by turning the steering wheel fully to the left and removing the inner fender shield (removal of tire and wheel is not required). Remote battery terminals are located in the engine compartment for jump starting.

CAUTION: Never use a fuse with a capacity that is larger than that specified. Never use any substitute, such as wire, foil, etc. Doing so will cause the circuit wiring to heat up and could cause a fire. If the newly inserted fuse blows again after a short time, have the electrical system checked.

The fuse block fuses and relays can be found on the inside of the instrument panel end cover. To locate the junction block, see Fig. 2 . For junction block identification and value, see Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 .

Chrysler Cirrus LXi 1996 - POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER Fuses
Power Distribution Center (PDC) is located on the left side of the engine compartment next to the air filter housing. A label identifying the fuses and relays, is located on the underside of the PDC cover. To locate the PDC, see Fig. 8 . For PDC relay and fuse amp ratings and circuit identification, see Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 .
