Dodge Stratus ES 2001 - FUSE JUNCTION BLOCK

CAUTION:

When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

To prevent damage to the electrical system due to short circulating or overloading, each individual circuit is provided with fuse. There are fuse blocks in the passenger compartment and in the engine compartment. The Fuse Junction Block in the passenger compartment is located on the driver's side of instrument panel. See Fig. 1 & Fig. 2 .

CAUTION:

To prevent damage to the electrical system due to short circulating or overloading, circuits are provided with fuses and circuit breakers. There are fuse blocks in the passenger compartment and in the engine compartment. The Power Distribution Center is located in the engine compartment on the left front inner fender. See Fig. 3 through Fig. 9 .

Dodge Stratus ES 2001 - FUSIBLE LINKS

Fusible links will melt to prevent a fire in the event that a large current flows through a system protected by a fusible link. In case of a melted fusible link, inspect wiring before replacement.
