Dodge Durango 2001 - 2001 ELECTRICAL Fuses & Circuit Breakers - Durango

Dodge Durango 2001 - IDENTIFICATION JUNCTION BLOCK

CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

The junction block is located in the end cover at the left side of the instrument panel. See Fig. 1 . Pull the cover straight away from the instrument panel for access to the fuses. To identify fuse block components, see illustration. See Fig. 2 . To identify junction bock fuses, see JUNCTION BLOCK FUSE IDENTIFICATION table.

Dodge Durango 2001 - POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER

CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other then indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

NOTE: If you are leaving your vehicle dormant for longer then 21 days you may want to take steps to protect your battery. You may do this by disconnecting the battery or by disconnecting Ignition-Off Draw (IOD) fuse in cavity No. 12. The IOD cavity includes a snap-in retainer that allows the fuse to be disconnected, without removing it from the fuse block. Pressing the IOD fuse back into the cavity reconnects it.

For component locations, see Fig. 3 . To identify power distribution components, see Fig. 4 . For fuse identification see POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER FUSE IDENTIFICATION table.
