BeschreibungDie Stra?enkarten-Navigationsanlage zeigt jederzeit den Standort des Fahrzeugs auf der Karte an (Stadtplan bzw. Landstra?en/Autobahnen), die im Display des CONNECT dargestellt wird.So kann der Fahrer zum gewunschten Fahrtziel Schritt fur Schritt durch gesprochene Meldungen und Sichthinweise gefuhrt werden. Die Anlage liefert auch Zusatzinformationen fur nutzliche Dienstleistungen wie Hotels, Parkhauser, Restaurants, Apotheken, Tankstellen, Krankenhauser, ALFA-ROMEO-Werkstatten, Bahnhofe, Flughafen usw.Der Navigator wird ggf. in die Gruppe Radio-Telefon-Navigator integriert. (NIT = Infotelematik-Knoten) genannt. 'CONNECT'.Der aktuelle Standort des Fahrzeugs wird mit Hilfe des GPS-Satellitensystems bestimmt (Global Positioning System). Es bietet folgende Funktionen:Standortbestimmung,Berechnung der Strecke,Anzeige der Fahrmanover 'Route guidance' (Streckenfuhrung),Verwaltung der kompletten Datenbank der Landkarten (auf CD-ROM),Landkartenanzeige (mit Symbolen oder mit Karten),Sprachmeldungen.Der CD-Leser fur den Navigator sitzt in der selben Baugruppe.768
767Der Navigator arbeitet nur, wenn die CD-ROM sich im Laufwerk befindet. Auch eine Musik-CD kann wahrend der Navigation gespielt werden. In diesem Fall erfordert die Navigation, dass die Karten-CD-ROM fur die Berechnung der Strecke eingelegt wird.
Die GPS-Anlage mit einer Satellitenantenne ermoglicht die Standortbestimmung uber das GPS-Satellitensystem. Die Antenne ist durch ein abgeschirmtes Kabel mit dem Empfanger in der integrierten Baugruppe verbunden.Die Stabantenne befindet sich auf dem hinteren Teil des Dachs und hat drei Funktionen, da sie auch die Funktion fur GSM und Radio umfasst.Die Position des Fahrzeugs wird durch die Analyse der GPS-Daten, der Tachometersignale und des RG-Signals bestimmt.Der Standort wird zusammen mit den auf der CD gespeicherten topografischen Merkmalen des Gebiets im Display angezeigt. Der Navigator erzeugt auch eine 'synthetische Stimme' im Audio-Kreis, so dass der Fahrer gesprochene Anweisungen erhalt.Der integrierte Radio-Telefon-Navigator bildet einen Knoten im CAN-Netz fur den Datenaustausch mit dem Body Computer und den anderen Elektroniken (der Navigator erfasst z.B. die km, den RG usw. )In der Instrumententafel (Version HIGH) werden die Navigationshinweise aus dem Radiodisplay wiederholt.Durch ein mit den Tasten im Bedienfeld neben dem Lenkrad aktivierbares Menu kann das ganze System konfiguriert werden, insbesondere die Ma?einheiten und die Sprache der Anzeigen. Funktionsbeschreibung Der integrierte Autoradio-Telefon-Navigator P20 erhalt Strom (Pin 7 des Steckers A) direkt aus der Batterie durch die Leitung mit der Sicherung F39 im Verteiler unter dem Armaturenbrett B2 und die Gro?sicherung CPL von B99 . An Pin 8 des Steckers A steht die Stromversorgung bei eingeschaltetem Standlicht 3038863SieheE2530INSTRUMENTENBELEUCHTUNG an. An den Pins 1 und 3 des Steckers A steht die CAN-Leitung an, mit der das Autoradio P20 mit dem Body Computer M1 und den anderen Elektroniken verbunden wird. Pin 8 des Steckers A ist mit der Masse verbunden. Pin 5 des Steckers A leifert den Strom fur die Antenne P25 . Die GPS-Antenne ist durch ein Koaxkabel mit dem Navigator verbunden. Vom Stecker B gehen die Kabel zu den Lautsprechern fur die gesprochenen Hinweise aus.Die Tasten MODE in der Bedienungsgruppe H10 erhalten Strom durch die Leitung (INT) mit der Sicherung F39 im Verteiler B2 und senden ihre Signale zur Instrumententafel E50 , Pin 16 des Steckers B. Die Instrumententafel E50 ist uber das CAN-Netz mit dem Body Computer M1 und dem Knoten des integrierten Radio-Telefon-Navigators P20 verbunden.
