DescriptionThe vehicle is prepared for fitting a cellular telephone. This preparation consists of a specific connection, located inside the tunnel cover by the centre armrest between the front seats which provides the supply for the telephone and the connection for the hands free function. The predisposition comprises the following parts:specific aerial, located at the rear of the roof (with dual function GSM and GPS);a hands-free speaker, located in the passenger door. It is the same loudspeaker as for the radio, with a double connection;predisposition for a microphone in the area of the front courtesy light (2.0 TB 6M and 3.0 V6 only);connection for the supply and recharging of the cellular telephone, located in the central armrest;cables for supplying and connecting the components. The mobile phone connection has two power supplies; one direct from the battery and one ignition operated. The above lines are protected by two fuses in the junction unit.
Functional description The connection D75 receives the direct supply (pin 1) from the battery via the line of fuse F18 of the junction unit B1 and the maxifuse B5 . Receives the ignition-dependent supply (INT) (pin 5) via the line of fuse F5 of the junction unit B1 . Pin 3 of connection D75 is earthed, while pins 6 and 7 supply the signal to the loudspeaker P46 , connector B, while connector A is for the car radio ( 3309640SeeE3510RADIO ). Pins 4 and 8 of connection D75 represent the preparation for the microphone P26 (hands free function). Only the 2.0 TB 6M and 3.0 V6 versions have the preparation at the front courtesy light fitted as standard; the other versions have the preparation up to coupling D42 (Dashboard/Courtesy lights coupling). The MUTE signal for decreasing the volume during a telephone call is sent to the radio system via pin 2 for connection D75.
