Description - REVERSING LIGHTS - Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 JTS
The vehicle is equipped with a reversing light located on the right side of the rear bumper (on right hand drive versions, it is located on the left hand side).This is operated whenever reverse is engaged via a switch on the outside of the gear housing.The circuit for the reversing lights is supplied with the key ON (INT) and is protected by a special fuse in the junction unit under the dashboard.The signal that reverse gear has been engaged is managed by the Body Computer which sends this information, via the CAN, to the integrated radio-telephone-navigator nodeand to the parking control unit.
Operational description - REVERSING LIGHTS - Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 JTS
The switch for the reversing lights I20receives an ignition-controlled power supply (INT) from the line protected by fuse F35 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and sends a power supply to the reversing light F33, directly via junction unit B2pin 8 connector D.The reversing light activation signal is sent to the Body Computer M1pin 3 of connector F and from there, via the CAN line, to the navigator node. and to the parking control unit.
