DESCRIPTION - CENTRAL LOCKING - Fiat BRAVO 1.4 16v
The simultaneous operation of the four door locks takes place via:- the remote control;- the key inserted in the catch on the driver''s door;- the locking / unlocking button in the control unit in the centre of the dashboard, left sideThe remote control unit has 3 buttons that allow the operation of the central locking system: a button for unlocking the doors, one for locking the vehicle and one for releasing the boot
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - CENTRAL LOCKING - Fiat BRAVO 1.4 16v
The door locking/unlocking function is controlled by the Body Computer M1 and activated by the central locking power module M80.Body Computer M1 receives the following inputs:- lock/release signals from the aerial-receiver of remote control unit P93, which are connected to pins 30 and 43 of connector B of M1;- lock/release signals from the key pawl located in lock N50, at pin 28 of connector E of M1;- the negative signal from the locking/unlocking button, located in the control unit H90, at pin 17 of connector H of M1.The Body Computer M1 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line protected by maxifuse B99 at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit B2.The central locking power module M80 receives a power supply from the line protected by fuse F36 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.Depending on the operating logic illustrated, the Body Computer M1 operates the central locking power module M80 which, in turn, activates the geared motors in the locks for the four doors via three relays: the joint power supply for the motors is sent from pin 4 of connector D; the locking/unlocking motors (B/S) are operated from pin 36 of connector E; the dead lock motors (DL) for locks N50, N51, N5 and N56 are operated from pin 42 of connector E.The signal LED in control unit H90 is turned on by a signal from pin 13 of connector H of M1 by means of the logic illustrated previously. The activation of the inertia switch I50 is indicated at pin 23 of connector D of the Body Computer M1 : this signal, as described previously, causes the opening of the doors.Body Computer M1 is connected via the CAN line to instrument panel E50, to which it sends a signal that turns on the door open warning light, where necessary, and activates the buzzer to give an acoustic signal.
