DESCRIPTION - ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS - Fiat BRAVO 1.4 16v TJet
The electric windows for the front doors are operated through the switches on the driver''s door (both windows) and the passenger side (passenger side only). The driver and passenger side motors are controlled in both manual and automatic mode, acccording to the specification.Automatic operation takes place as follows:- if the button is pressed is between 60 and 300 milliseconds, operation is manual: the glass goes up/down only with the key pressed;- f the key is pressed for longer than 300 milliseconds, operation is automatic: even if the button is released, the glass continues to move up/down until the end of travel position is reached or until the intervention of the anti-pinch safety system;- pressing the button again whilst the window is moving stops it in the position it is in;- if the button is pressed for less than 60 milliseconds, this is ignored (it is treated as an accidental knock). The electronic circuit inside the motor manages the antipinch function: i.e. it acquires information about the possible presence of an obstacle during window closure (rising); the antipinch function is performed by a Hall effect sensor that senses overloads on the window motor; the action threshold is set when the force of the obstacle encountered along the window travel (e.g. a finger, a hand) exceeds 7/8 kg.In addition, if a fault is detected, the control unit inhibits the automatic raising operation only allowing it in steps of 500 ms each time the button is pressed.the windows are automatically opened or closed through the special prolonged (more than 2 seconds) command sent by the remote control button. The electric window function operates only with the ignition on, with the following exception: after key-off, the windows may be operated for a period of 3 minutes. When this period has elapsed, the system cannot receive new commands. If opening of one of the doors is detected during the timed period, no new commands are received but any commands received before door opening are completed. If one of the doors is already open at key off, any commands received before door opening are completed.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS - Fiat BRAVO 1.4 16v TJet
Body Computer M1 - pin 32 of connector E - supplies the control unit on the driver side door H44 - pin 1 and passenger side door H50 - pin 2; this supply also turns on the lighting LEDs. Similarly, motors N60 (driver''s) and N61 (passenger side), pin 3, are supplied in accordance with the above strategy from pin 13 of connector D of M1.The Body Computer M1 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line protected by maxifuse B99 at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit B2.Unit H44 includes the driver and passenger side window controls, which are sent directly to motors N60 and N61.Similarly, the control on passenger side door H50 is sends controls to motor N61The services relay T13, located in the junction unit under the dashboard B2, supplies the motors N60 and N61 - pin 6 - via two lines protected by fuses F47 and F48 through the logic described above and controlled by the Body Computer M1 - pin 14 of connector F.The signals from the aerial-receiver of remote control unit P93, connected to pins 30 and 43 of connector B of M1, also control the opening/closing of the front electric windows.
