The Blue & Me system allows mobile phones to be used on board the vehicle safely.- Bluetooth receiver;- integral Voice Recognition unit including microphone (located next to the front courtesy light);- Text to Speech integrated module;- USB interface for Media Player.The control unit that manages the entire system is also connected to radio controls on the steering wheel (two special keys for this function are provided in addition to the radio control keys).The entire operation of the system is also managed by voice commands, picked up by the microphone near the front courtesy light.The alphanumeric display used is that of the control panel.On the more extensive version, the Blue & Me system has a navigator with maps loaded onto the USB device connected to the USB port on the vehicle.For more details on system operation
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - INTEGRATED RADIO PHONE - Fiat BRAVO 1.4 16v TJet
The Bluetooth control unit M162 is supplied directly at pin 16 of connector A from the battery via the line for fuse F39 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.The Bluetooth control unit M162 receives an ignition-controlled power supply at pin 32 via the line for fuse F51 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2.Pin 15 of M162 is earthed.The CAN line that connects the Bluetooth control unit M162 to the radio P20, the Body Computer M1, the instrument panel E50 and the other system nodes reaches pins 14 and 30 of M162.The Body Computer M1 is connected to the radio controls on the steering wheel via clock spring D47: pin 27 of connector H of M1 receives the signals for the buttons on the right of the steering wheel, whilst pin 15 of connector H of M1 receives the signals from the buttons on the left of the steering wheel.The Body Computer M1 receives a direct supply from the battery via the line protected by maxifuse B99 at pin 18 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit under the dashboard B2; the ignition-controlled supply (INT) reaches pin 9 of connector F of the interface with the junction unit B2.The Bluetooth control unit M162 is connected to the radio P20 - connector E - from pins 5, 22 and 21 with the AUX left, AUX right and AUX earth signals.The Media Player USB socket P143 is connected to the Bluetooth control unit M162, to pins 3, 4, 19, 20 and 31 respectively, with signals: signal D+, reference earth, signal D-, 5V power supply and shielding.The handsfree microphone P26 is connected to pins 8 and 24 of M162.
