Description - HEATER - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The vehicle climate control system involves a duct/distributor unit with a heater, controlled via three knobs in the dashboard:the left knob mechanically controls the mixture flap between hot and cold air;the right knob, mechanically operated via a cable, controls the opening of the flaps which regulate the distribution of air flows;the centre knob electrically controls the ventilation of the air at four different speeds; two versions are available: one with three speeds and one with four speeds;
The operation of the fan at different speeds is achieved through a resistive divider, protected by a special thermal fuse to prevent overheating.There is also a sliding knob on the control panel, located under the knobs, which mechanically regulates the ''recirculation'' function via a cable.The control panel is lit up when the side lights are on.The fan circuit is protected by a specific fuse, in the junction unit in the dashboard, controlled by the passenger compartment air fan relay, located in the duct/distributor unit.The fan only operates when the ignition is switched ON.
Functional description - HEATER - Fiat DOBLO 1.9 JTD 8V da 12/03
The relay R8 , housed in the engine compartment junction unit B01 , controls the heater fan circuit.The supply for the relay contact arrives from the battery at pin 1 of connector A and is protected by fuse F8 , whilst the energizing of the coil is controlled by the ignition (INT/A) by the line protected by fuse F31 (junction unit under the dashboard B02).The relay R8 direcly supplies the fan N85 which operates at different speeds thanks to the regulator O30 . The regulator, in effect, makes it possible to select different resistance (voltage divider) which vary the ''load'' for the circuit and make the motor N85 work at four different speeds.The control panel has ideograms lit up when the side lights are switched on by lights G45, supplied through the line protected by fuse F51 of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 .
