The vehicle is equipped with reversing lights located in the tail-light clusters. These are operated whenever reverse is engaged via a switch on the outside of the gear housing. The circuit is supplied with the key on MAR and protected by a fuse located in the underfacia junction unit. The reversing light activation signal is managed by the Body Computer, which forwards this information:- to the Parking Sensor Control Unit;- and to the Radio Navigation System;- while also inhibiting the seat belt buzzer.
The reversing light activation signal leaves switch I020, located in gear casing, ignition-operated (INT/A) via a connection between ignition switch H01 and pin 1 connector E of under-facia junction unit B02.The line is protected by fuse F31 in the control unit (B02) and via engine compartment control unit B01, entering at pin 11 connector B and leaving at pin 9 connector B.When reverse is engaged, the switch closes and the reversing lights in the right tail-light F31 and left tail-light F30 are supplied with power via pin 8 of connector D of under-dashboard control unit B02.At the same time, this power supply is sent to body computer M01 for associated logic functions. The body computer is supplied via pin 11 connector E of junction unit B02 from ignition switch H01 (INT) or via a line protected by fuses F53 and F1 contained in control unit B02 and B01 and lastly directly from the battery via a fuse F1 in engine compartment junction unit B01.Pins 8 and 9 of connector D of the body computer are earthed.
