DESCRIPTION - HEATED SEATS - Fiat GRANDE PUNTO 1.2 8v
The front seats are available, on request, with a special heating system (comprising two heating elements located in the cushion and the backrest): this allows the seat to be heated to overcome the discomfort of cold passenger compartments in very harsh climates, e.g. when the car is left in the open for long periods in winter.The heating device located in each seat consists of two resistors activated by a controls located on the console between the two seats.A special LED next to the switches indicates that the coils are switched on.Once a certain temperature has been reached the heating stops automatically thanks to a thermal contact inside the actual device.Seat heating is ignition-operated (INT).The seat heating circuit is controlled by two special relays and protected by two specific fuses located in the fuse box in the boot.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - HEATED SEATS - Fiat GRANDE PUNTO 1.2 8v
The power supply to both seat heaters O40 and O41 is received via relays T31 (left) and T35 (right) located in boot fuse box B45, via lines protected by fuses F68 and F83 respectively. The relays are excited by control signals from switches I65 and I66.Switches I65 and I66 are supplied by an ignition-operated line (INT) leading from Body Computer M1 - pin 6 of connector E - protected by fuse F61 of M1.Body Computer M1 - connector G - is supplied directly by the battery via a line protected by maxifuse F2 of engine compartment control unit B1; it is supplied with an ignition-operated supply (INT) at pin 32 of connector D; pin 10 of connector H of M1 supplies the Body Computer with a reference earth.The switches are lit by an ignition-operated supply (INT) from the line of fuse F61 of M1.
