The vehicle climate control system is achieved through the duct/distributor unit and heater.The climate control system is controlled by means of three control knobs in the dashboard:- the left knob controls the hot and cold air mixing flap via mechanical controls;- the central knob regulates air ventilation at four different speeds by means of an electrical control;- the right knob controls the opening of the flaps that regulate the distribution of air flows;There are 2 buttons above the knobs:- the first from the right engages the recirculation function through an electrically-controlled motor- the second button switches on the defrosting of the heating rear windscreen and the door mirrors
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION - HEATER - Fiat GRANDE PUNTO 1.3 Multijet
Fan N85 si supplied from a line protected by fuse F18 of engine compartment control unit B1 and from relay T5 of B1: this is an "ignition-operated except during start-up (INT/A)" supply controlled from pin 13 of connector A of M1.Control knob H81 controls the fan at different speeds via regulator O30: the command signal varies according to the position of the control knob and the resistances of regulator O30 to determine four different voltage signals for the fan N85 which turns at 4 different speeds.Outside air intake/recirculation flap motor N82 is controlled by a button located in control unit H80: button operation causes an earth signal and electrical supply to be sent to the motor.Control unit H80 si supplied from a line protected by fuse F24 of engine compartment control unit B1 and from relay T6 of B1: this ignition-operated supply (INT) is controlled from pin 1 of connector A of M1; Control unit H80 also receives a direct supply from the line protected by fuse F38 of the engine compartment junction unit B1
