DescriptionThe vehicle is also available, on request, prepared for the installation of a cellular telephone. This preparation consists of:supply connector for recharging the cellular telephone; it is located near the radio and also acts as a support for the actual telephone."hands-free" speaker, in the passenger side door (it is the same speaker as the radio with two connections: one for the radio and one for the cellular telephone "hands-free" function).
The connector for the cellular telephone has two supplies; one direct and one only with the ignition switched ON; there is also a supply with the side lights on to light up the telephone, if fitted. The above two lines are protected by two fuses in the junction unit.768
| 767The preparation does not include a microphone or a GSM aerial. These devices are supplied together with the various telephone installation kits. |

Functional description The connector D75 receives a supply directly (pin 9) from the battery via the line for fuse F10 of the junction unit B1 and the maxifuse J/B1 of B5. It receives a supply controlled by the ignition (INT) (pin 7) via the line for fuse F1 of the junction unit B1. Pin 8 receives a supply, with the side lights on, via the line protected by fuse F2 of the junction unit B1 ( See E2010
SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS ). Pin 10 of connector D75 is earthed, whilst pins 5 and 6 provide the signal for the speaker P36 , connector B (hands-free); connector A is used by the radio ( See E3510
RADIO ). The radio is also reached by pin 1 which manages the "MUTE" function if a call is received.
