DescriptionThe sun roof is the 'Skydome' type, comprising two glass panels, one fixed and one moving.The sun roof control unit is incorporated in the electric motor that controls the opening/closing of the actual roof; the operation of the roof takes place via the switch, connected directly to the control unit.If the sun roof gets stuck whilst closing, due to the presence of an obstacle, the sun roof control unit (incorporated in the electric motor) interrupts the movement, keeping it in the position reached.If the sun roof gets stuck whilst opening, the control unit interrupts the movement of the glass panel and reverses the direction, moving it 10 mm forward from the reversal point.
Functional descriptionthe sun roof electric motor includes:the control unit M095;the roof opening/closing switch. The sun roof control unit receives an ignition-controlled supply (pin 1) from the line protected by fuse F53 and a direct battery supply (pin 2) from the line protected by fuse F46. Both fuses are housed in the junction unit under the dashboard B002. Depending on the command given, the control unit M095 proceeds directly with opening or closing the moving glass panel for the roof.767 Earth C020 is fastened to the passenger compartment floor and is located near the right front wheel arch (footwell area). Coupling D001 is housed in the lower part of the right front pillar, near the door cable duct.
