DescriptionThe door control unit control the operationof the driver and passenger side electric window motors.The driver and passenger side window motorsare controlled manually or automatically according to the specification.Automatic operation takes place asfollows:if the button is pressed for between 60 and 300 milliseconds,the operation is manual: the window closes/opens only when the buttonis pressed;if the button is pressed for over 300 milliseconds, theoperation is instead automatic: even if the relevant button is released,the window continues to close/open as far as the end of travel oruntil the anti-collision safety system intervenes, if applicable;a subsequent press on the button during movement of thewindow locks it in its current position;if the button is pressed for less than 60 milliseconds,it is ignored (it is considered to have been knocked accidentally).The control unit of the controls unit onthe door also acquires information on the possible presence of anobstacle during movement of the window during closing (raising)via the anti-pinch seals: in this case the window travel stops immediatelyand is reversed; this happens in both manual and automatic operation.The correct operation of the anti-crushsafety sensor is controlled by the check function.The circuit is controlled by the servicesrelay and protected by two fuses, all located in the unit underthe dashboard.Movement takes place whether the ignitionin ON or OFF.With the ignition on, it takes place asdescribed above; in addition during starting, this relay is temporarilydeactivated.When the ignition is off, the Body Computerkeeps the relay activated - which also supplies the door mirrors- for 3 minutes, but deactivates it immediately when one of the twofront doors is opened.Movement is also disabled when the batteryvoltage is below 10 V.The windows are automatically opened orclosed by a specific prolonged command (over 3 seconds) sent bythe remote control button, if the ignition is off;The remote control receiver aerial is connecteddirectly to the Body Computer which contains the electronics forthe actual receiver.
Functional description The services relay T13, located in the unitunder the dashboard B2, supplies with the above-mentioned logicand controlled by the Body Computer M1 - pin 14 of connector F -the controls units on the driver side door M66 and passenger sidedoor M67 - pin 8 of connector E , H44 - pin 8 of connector D, viatwo lines, protected by the fuses F47 and F48. Control units M66 and M67 ,are connected via a CAN line to one another and to Body Computer M1 . The unit H44 contains the commandsfor the driver's and passenger's windows: appropriate analogue signalsare sent to pins 31 and 32 of connector A of M66 (pin 33provides the reference earth). Control unit M66 controls motor N60 (driverside) directly and motor N61 (passenger side) via controlunit M67 . Similarly, the control on front passengerdoor H50 sends an appropriate analogue signal to controlunit M67 pin 32 (pin 33 supplies a reference earth)., whichcontrols motor N61 . Pins 2 and 5 of Connector C of M66 and M67 receive signals from antipinch sensors K22 and K23 . The Body Computer M1 is connected, viathe CAN line, to the instrument panel E50 to manage the 'failure'warning light if faults are detected in the anti-crush sensors. The aerial-receivier P93 sends theBody Computer M1 the signal to open/close the doors and alsowindows and sunroof, by connecting to pins 21 and 31 of connectorB 2427981SeeE3040CENTRAL LOCKING .
