DescriptionThe vehicle is equipped with a reversing light located at the rear in the right light cluster.It is operated each time reverse gear is engaged through the special switch on the gearbox casing.The circuit is supplied with the ignition switched ON and is protected by a fuse, in the junction unit under the facia.
Functional descriptionThe reversing light switch:pin 1 receives an ignition-operated power supply from a line protected by fuse F31;pin 2 supplies a signal to body computer node M001 pin 1 connector C when reverse is engaged.The body computer, after receiving the signal:pin 1 connector F supplies the reversing light housed inside right tail-light F031;pin 6 connector F sends a signal to parking sensor control unit (where present) M084 See E3090 PARKING SENSOR . right tail-light F031 refers to earth C030 secured to the left rear tail-light (inside passenger compartment).
