FUSES & CIRCUIT BREAKERS Fuses & Circuit Breakers 1990-92 Jaguar

Jaguar XJ-S 1990 - IDENTIFICATION FUSE PANEL LOCATION

The electrical systems are protected from short circuits by fuses that are designed to fail to prevent damage to the wire harness. The main fuse box is located below the instrument panel on the driver's side. An auxiliary fuse box is similarly situated below the glove box on the passenger's side. A list of the protected circuit fuse ratings is given on the back of each cover.

On 1990-92 models, the driver's under-dash panel is padded to incorporate a knee bolster, therefore necessary changes have been made to the climate control ducting and location of electrical components. An additional fuse box containing fuses protecting the headlight circuit and the radiator cooling fan is located in the engine compartment on the left side.
