Jaguar XJ6 1994 - IDENTIFICATION FUSE PANEL LOCATION

The electrical systems are protected from short circuits by fuses that are designed to fail to prevent damage to the wire harness. There are three different fuse boxes protecting three different groups of circuits. The left and right panels are located at the bottom of the left and right front door pillars respectively. The center fuse panel is located inside the front center arm rest. A list of the protected circuits fuse ratings is given on the back of each fuse box cover. In addition to these, there are in-line fuses protecting various other circuits in vehicle.

WARNING: Always disconnect battery ground cable before servicing "high-current fuses. It is recommended that "high-current" fuses be replaced by a qualified technician.
