Jeep Grand Wagoneer 1991 - CAUTIONS & WARNINGS SELEC-TRAC SYSTEM
CAUTION: Never attempt to engage LO range when vehicle is in 2WD, or when vehicle is moving faster than 2-3 MPH. Transfer case damage may result.
Jeep Grand Wagoneer 1991 - BRAKE WARNING LIGHT
CAUTION: If the parking brake is released and the BRAKE warning light glows while the ignition is on or engine is running, there may be a problem in the brake hydraulic system. Brake pedal travel, effort and stopping distances may increase.
Jeep Grand Wagoneer 1991 - 4WD OPERATION
CAUTION: Never operate vehicles with a Model 208 transfer case in 4WD on dry, hard-surfaced roads for a sustained period, and use 4LO only when needed for added pulling power. Using 4WD on such roads will cause stress and possible damage to components, as well as make shifting difficult. To reduce shifting effort, drive the vehicle in reverse for a few feet, or drive off the hard surface road momentarily to allow tire slippage.
